Sarah Kicks Some at the Summit 5K

September 9th, 2007

This morning, I was a hardcore runner and ran the Summit 5K IN THE RAIN! I finished in 31:50 and placed second in my age category. I felt so good—who else gets up on a rainy Saturday morning to run a race? Nothing but a real runner!

Mom and Dad came down from Clinton to watch. We went to Steak ‘N Shake for breakfast and went to Silver Dollar City this afternoon. After such a full day, here’s hoping I survive the 8 1/2 mile training run tomorrow!
