Silver Dollar City Run to the Lights 5K

All right, the Sunday afternoon nap calls, but I wanted to post these pictures from Friday night’s Silver Dollar City 5K. My ole roommate Betsy and I ran her first 5K together in 41:30. My knee was still achy from the half marathon, so I took it as easy as I could. Thank goodness for yummy cookies after the race!

Great photos!!! The photos of the tree and the lights turned out AWESOME! Mine…um…not so much.
Again, it was really great seeing you on Friday. We must all get together soon when we’re not distracted with running.

That looks like a totally cool run. And really makes you feel like the holiday season has begun.
PS: As for your aches & stuff - I have found many of mine to be related to shoes. But it takes a few runs in the new shoes until the aches finally subside. Its possible you have the same thing, so I agree with your new shoe theory
