Missouri State University Writing Center
During my first year as a graduate assistant, I worked as a tutor at the Missouri State Writing Center. Because the Center was under new leadership, it needed a fresh web site. At that time, I had only a handful of HTML and CSS skills, but I could organize and write clearly, so I offered my help.
Using a Missouri State web template, I “redesigned” the site. Mostly, I took the existing site, which was a hodge podge of links on the home page with no logical navigation system, and restructured the site. With the new structure in place, I was able to delete redundant content and rewrite the remaining content.
